Join us for our first fall lecture on Thursday, September 23 at 5 pm MDT as Dr. D. Clark Wernecke discusses how new archaeological data challenges long-held notions regarding the peopling of the Americas. Learn how new research at places like the Gault Site, a Conservancy preserve in central Texas, has allowed scholars to refine dates, examine Paleoenvironments, and learn more about pre-Clovis sites.  The lecture will talk more about how some of these new discoveries alter the narrative for the peopling of the Americas that has been taught for generations.
