During construction of a new ballpark at Sulphur Dell, Nashville, Tennessee a collection of artifacts was discovered which sparked the need to call in a local CRM firm. The archaeologists are excavating the area as the ballpark’s construction continues around them. So far, none of the remains have been attributed as Native American. A spokesperson from the mayor’s office says that the construction will continue as planned unless Native American artifacts or burials are discovered.
