Giving Tuesday Lunch & Learn: Preservation Across the Nation


    The Archaeological Conservancy will be hosting a special Giving Tuesday presentation this year- “Preservation Across the Nation.”  Learn more from our Regional Directors who will share details about recent acquisitions, as well as updates on preservation and research projects currently taking place on Conservancy preserves.

    We’ll begin with a behind-the-scenes look at how member contributions are used to acquire, maintain, and protect our preserves across America with a short film featuring Southwest Regional Director Jim Walker. Learn more the preservation process beyond acquisition which include fencing, educational interpretation, revegetation, and much more. We’ll follow with a roundtable discussion featuring our Regional Directors who will highlight Conservancy projects and accomplishments in each of their areas and answer questions for the audience.  This informative discussion will illustrate the Conservancy’s extensive cultural resource management work across the Nation.
